MEDFORD, Ore. — Lithia Motors expanded the company's presence in its home state as three Bend, Ore., stores will become part of the dealership network.
Honda of Bend has been purchased by Lithia, which also agreed to have the Cadillac and Chevrolet brands from Bob Thomas Chevrolet Cadillac transferred into the network.
Officials estimated that the combined annual revenues these stores bring into Lithia will be $35 million.
Meanwhile, Lithia revealed that Fresno Chrysler Jeep Inc. has bought the company's Dodge dealership in Fresno, Calif. This particular store brought in an estimated $17 million in annual revenue.
"Lithia is excited to be entering the Bend market," shared Sid DeBoer, Lithia's chairman and chief executive officer.
"As an Oregon-based company headquartered in a similar-sized city, we pride ourselves on understanding these communities and their customers," he continued. "These two transactions continue our progress towards diversification and improving our brand mix."
