MEDFORD, Ore. –
Lithia Motors on Monday announced its acquisition of a longtime Texas dealership, boosting the company’s overall number of stores to almost 90.
The newly-acquired dealership is Connell Chevrolet in Killeen, Texas, which will now be renamed as All American Chevrolet of Killeen.
Lithia reports that the deal adds $60 million in estimated annual revenues to what is the ninth largest automotive retailer in the U.S., according to company reports.
Bryan DeBoer, president and chief executive officer at Lithia Motors, said, “We are excited to expand our operations in the state of Texas. The Connells are an important part of the Killeen community, and we look forward to continuing the proud heritage they have built. We would like to extend a warm welcome to the 55 employees who are joining our team.”
According to the website of Connell Chevrolet, that company was formed in 1946.
