ATLANTA — While a new Total Resource Auctions facility officially has come on board, Manheim also cheered the immediate dividends another sale with Wells Fargo Auto Finance has created.

Executives raised the amount of locations that conduct Wells Fargo Auto Finance sales to 15 by bringing Manheim Phoenix into the mix.

Officials from both companies cited strong sale results and customer service satisfaction at existing Manheim locations as reasons for the expansion. They indicated both the inaugural sale at Manheim Phoenix on July 8 and the second sale on July 22 achieved considerable results with high sales percentages as well as superb in-lane and online dealer participation.

"We chose to grow our partnership with Manheim in Phoenix based on a solid track record of sales success," stated Howard Segal, national remarketing manager at Wells Fargo Auto Finance.

"Based on the first month of sales results at the new location, Manheim's multiple sales channels and customer focus continue to yield a big — and immediate — return on investment," Segal added.

Nick Peluso, senior vice president of customer management at Manheim, hailed the move, as well.

"We love to be part of a good success story, especially one with continually new chapters like Wells Fargo Auto Finance's," Peluso declared.

"The addition of Manheim Phoenix is a win for everyone — including dealers who benefit from even broader access to pre-owned inventory from one of the leading consignors in the industry."

Weekly Wells Fargo Auto Finance sales are held at Manheim Phoenix each Thursday at 9:30 a.m.  Online buyers are invited to participate via Manheim Simulcast.

Total Resource Auctions Site Near Dallas Opens

Manheim indicated construction is complete on its newest Total Resource Auctions facility located in Wilmer, Texas, near Dallas.

To celebrate the official opening of the eco-friendly location, the company is holding a special event sale today beginning at 9:30 a.m. Total Resource Auctions Dallas expects close to 200 units and more than 150 buyers to participate.

In addition to gaining access to a large selection of wholesale salvage vehicles, Manheim stressed that participating dealers can take advantage of select grand opening celebration benefits.

All attending dealers can enjoy a complimentary barbecue lunch, receive a Total Resource Auctions Dallas T-shirt and be eligible for additional giveaways.

Built on 71 acres and featuring 26,000 total square feet, officials mentioned the new location incorporates 12,000 square feet of office space, two Simulcast sale lanes and a wash bay that can hold up to 30 vehicles.

To decrease the facility's environmental footprint, Manheim pointed out recycled concrete was used on half of the 46 acres of developed surface. In addition, the company said the facility will use an advanced geothermal heating and cooling system and reuse 90 percent of the water from its wash bays.

With the addition of this facility, Total Resource Auctions now offers two locations to serve the greater Dallas area.

"Our new Dallas location is a showcase for how to combine the best customer service and support with environmental considerations," stated Jamie Porter, president of Total Resource Auctions.

"This location was built with the goal of helping our wholesale salvage customers conduct business efficiently, but also to demonstrate how auction facilities can use resources more efficiently," Porter added.

Total Resource Auctions Dallas plans to host in-lane and online sales every Monday at 9:30 a.m. The sales are to feature a wide selection of insurance total-loss vehicles, cars, trucks, motorcycles and heavy equipment.

"We're excited to offer another Total Resource Auctions location in the Dallas region to help meet the needs of the increasing number of buyers and sellers of wholesale salvage units in the area," noted Chad Estes, manager of Total Resource Auctions Dallas.

"The new location will provide positives for everyone involved: buyers will benefit from added flexibility and a more diverse selection of units while sellers will enjoy our optimal buyer mix which generates top dollar returns," Estes went on to say.
