MONTVALE, N.J. –

Auto Remarketing learned Wednesday that Mercedes-Benz USA has rolled out new certified pre-owned extended limited warranty options this week that can further help dealers emphasize the quality in the automaker’s lineup.

Previously, the warranty packages in the automaker’s CPO program had a limit of 100,000 total vehicle miles, manager of pre-owned operations Scott Penza explained.

He noted that base CPO warranty of 12 months or 100,000 total miles is still available on all certified Mercedes-Benz units, but now dealers also have a little extra protection to give customers.

“In addition to the base CPO warranty, the Mercedes-Benz dealers will now have the opportunity to offer customers an optional 12-month/120,000-mile or 24-month/135,000-mile CPO ELW,” Penza shared.

He added: “We have enjoyed an increasing level of quality with our vehicles and this is a great way for our dealers to share the confidence in quality of the Mercedes-Benz vehicles with our customers. We are truly excited for both our dealers and customers.”
