Just as auctions now are talking about consolidations, a longtime Michigan dealer is doing the same thing with his Lincoln, Volvo and Mazda franchises.

In business since 1946 servicing the Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and surrounding communities, Sesi Motors stated this week it plans to consolidate its current Ypsilanti dealership where it sells Lincoln and Mazda vehicles and services the full line of Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda products into their current Ann Arbor location.

Management believes its rooftop at 3990 Jackson Road in Ann Arbor is one of the finest facilities in southeastern Michigan. Sesi currently sells Lincoln and Volvo, and it will now add the Mazda brand of vehicles to that location effective Aug. 27.

Officials indicated the Ypsilanti store located at 950 E. Michigan Ave. will continue to sell and service Lincoln and Mazda units through Aug. 26.

In reaching out to customers from throughout the region, president Joe Sesi pledged to provide the same service they have come to expect from one “convenient, state of the art” facility.

“The community has always been and continues to be our top priority. The consolidation of our two dealership locations into Ann Arbor will only create a very efficient operation for our customers and improve their experience,” Sesi explained.

“Our unwavering commitment to the community will continue just as it has for last 65 years,” he emphasized.
