NAAA Elects New VP

The National Auto Auction Association has revealed its vice president for the 2011–2012 term, electing ADESA Boston general manager Jack Neshe to the position.
Neshe was elected at the association’s annual conference last week in Chicago and joins president Charlotte Pyle and president-elect Paul Lips on the executive board.
“It’s been extremely gratifying to serve the NAAA in those positions, building relationships and working together for the mutual benefit of our members and the industry," Neshe said. "I thank the members for their trust and support by electing me to this post and look forward to serving them as their vice president.”
Neshe hopes to hone in on membership development, NAAA indicated.
“As part of the Membership Committee I saw how vital it is for the future of both our association and industry to develop our membership," he said. "I want to increase both our membership ranks and involvement.
“I also believe it’s important for the association to be a strong advocate for our members. I want to make every effort to keep them informed about legislation, regulations and other issues on the federal and state levels that can impact them,” Neshe continued.
NAAA also indicated that another one of his goals is streamlining processes that allow auctions to be more efficient and cost-effective in their operations. He also hopes to help boost customer service.
Sharing some details about Neshe’s background, he joined ADESA Boston in 1990. Neshe also serves on the board of directors for the Massachusetts Independent Auto Dealers Association.
“Jack is a super-qualified individual who has worked his way up through the industry, giving him a thorough understanding of the back-end of the business as well as operations and sales," said David Angelicchio, NAAA chairman and past president.
“He has been a very dedicated and loyal member of the association and we’re proud to have him as our vice president,” he added.
