ARLINGTON, Texas -

Along with announcing a new date for its annual convention, the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association revealed the next opportunity to attend the Certified Master Dealer Class.

The class featuring Joe Lescota, automotive department chair for Northwood University, will be Oct. 20–22. NIADA highlighted that participants can learn how to sharpen management skills, analyze financials and choose the best marketing and merchandising strategies.

The association pointed out Lescota was a retail executive who has more than 25 years of frontline dealership, selling, management and training experience.

New NIADA Convention Date

NIADA also announced its 2012 annual convention and expo dates have changed. The event now will be June 11–14 at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

“We’re ramping up the education sessions to bring you more of the information you need to survive and be successful in this ever-changing economy,” association officials insisted.
