SAN DIEGO -
The second day of the National Remarketing Conference is filled with a keynote panel, as well as panels covering iRemarketing, certified pre-owned, subprime repossessions and a special presentation honoring Women in Remarketing.
The day will kick off with a keynote address covering Why Resale Values are Critical to the Automotive Industry’s Long-Term Success.
Panelists will include Brian Small, of General Motors; Scott McKim, of Huntington National Bank; Linda Silverstein, of Ford Motor Co.; Tammy Darvish, of DARCARS Automotive Group; and Jack Fitzgerald, of Fitzgerald AutoMall.
Next up will be the iRemarketing 2010 panel, which will discuss Online Insight and Perspectives from Buyers and Sellers in iRemarketing.
The panelists will include Ralph Fisco, of Toyota and Lexus Financial Services; Brent Huisman, of Santander USA; Steve Kapusta, of Ally; John Manchin, of Subaru; and Kraig Quisenberry, of Bay Ford.
After a break where attendees can network, the sessions will pick back up at 11:15 a.m. (PST) with a Certified Pre-Owned Panel that touches upon The Important Role of Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles in the Remarketing Lifecycle for Dealers, Factories and Financial Interests.
Panelists will include Chuck Yaeger, of Lexus National; Danny Papakalos, of AutoNation; Larry Pryg, of GM Certified; and Craig Martinez, of JM Lexus.
Then after the luncheon concludes at about 2 p.m., the event will pick back up honoring Auto Remarketing’s Women in Remarketing, which include Sue Boehlke, of Manheim; Jeannie Chiaromonte, of Bank of America; Megan Haley, of Fiserv; Alexis Jacobs, of Columbus Fair Auto Auction; Mary Ann Pipes, of CitiFinancial; Debbie Vaughn, of ADESA; and Angela Williams, of Rawls Auto Auction.
Allison Weller, of RemarketingEdge, will be presenting the women with their awards.
Following the presentation of awards, the next panel will cover Subprime Repossessions. Panelists will include Neal Boardman, of BB&T and Regional Acceptance; Howard Segal, of Wells Fargo Auto Finance; Bill Walters, of Westlake Financial; and Megan Haley, of Fiserv.
The topic of Fleet, Lease and Rental is next on the agenda at 3 p.m. The panelists will include Darrin Aiken, of Wheels; Les Lynott, of Emkay; David Stolt, of Hertz; and Greg Thibault, of Avis Budget Group.
The final panel of the day will consist of The Executive Suite, which will include Boehlke, of Manheim; Mike Hockett, of ABC; Peter Kelly, of OPENLANE; Mark Newman, of Ally SmartAuction, Charles Nichols, of ServNet; Paul Lips, of ADESA; and Kevin Brown, of Missouri Auto Auction.
The day will conclude will a reception where attendees can network and discuss the events of the day.
