OPENLANE Unveils New AutoCheck History Report Availability
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. — OPENLANE recently decided to make full versions of Experian Automotive's AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports available for free when connected with certain sales.
These reports are for dealers who search dealer-consigned and regional-seller inventory on OPENLANE.com.
The free AutoCheck reports now are directly embedded into each vehicle's detail page resulting in what OPENLANE believes should make for a seamless and efficient research process.
In addition, OPENLANE also now allows dealers who have accounts with AutoCheck to leverage this full-report access when searching for other inventory.
Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive, described the company's expanding relationship with OPENLANE.
"OPENLANE has become an important part of many dealers' arsenals for streamlining their businesses and remaining competitive in this challenging automotive landscape," Waldron stated.
"By integrating AutoCheck with OPENLANE, we are providing its customer base with the information that dealers and consignors demand in order to have confidence in the vehicle and the seller throughout the purchase process," he continued.
Peter Kelly, president and chief financial officer of OPENLANE, added, "The information provided in AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports gives dealers even more reason to be confident in the online buying process. AutoCheck provides dealers with transparency and trust in the vehicle before they buy."
