ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. –

Payless Car Sales revealed Tuesday that it has reached a deal with JM&A Group to serve as the administrator of the certified pre-owned program it is rolling out this month.

As part of the agreement, JM&A is offering its F&I products to Payless Car Sales dealers, in addition to serving as the administrator of Payless Assurance.

Explaining the CPO program in more detail, officials noted that Payless Assurance will feature a 125-point inspection and include such amenities as free vehicle history reports, limited warranty, travel breakdown protection, rental car coverage and roadside assistance.

“Teaming with JM&A Group is a tremendous step forward for us and our dealers,” said Payless’ Keith Wiesman.

“JM&A Group brings a wealth of certified pre-owned expertise to our program, and we are excited to have their talents and resources at our disposal,” he added. “Most importantly, the associates employed by JM&A Group are among the best car people in the industry; and this agreement will make their field support and world-class training available to all of our Payless Car Sales franchised dealers.”

JM&A Group president Forrest Heathcott chimed in, noting: “We look forward to working with Payless Car Sales franchised dealers and customers and to leveraging our products and people to enhance the great lineup of services already offered.”
