SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -
 R. L. Polk & Co. revealed Monday who will become its new president effective Oct. 4.

Taking on the position is Tim Rogers, who will lead Polk’s overall business objectives, policies and strategic direction.

Rogers comes over to Polk after a 29-year tenure with Maritz, a leading marketing services company. During that time, he served as chief marketing officer as well as president of Maritz, while also holding the position of president and chief executive officer of Maritz Research.

“I’m extremely pleased to welcome Tim to the Polk team,” stated Stephen Polk, chairman, president and CEO.

“His successful track record and extensive automotive information experience in executive and leadership roles will help with Polk’s business and growth strategies as we move forward,” Polk continued.

Polk mentioned Rogers will relocate from St. Louis to Detroit.

“I look forward to the opportunity to join such a great and well-respected organization,” Rogers insisted.

“I’m excited to work with Polk’s talented team on strategic growth initiatives and help our customers achieve their business objectives,” he added.
