JACKSON and PEARL, Miss. — Rea Brothers' Mid South Auction recently shared the details of its "biggest sales event of the year" coming up in September that will not only include a wide assortment of vehicles offered, but also music and food considered to be among the South's favorites.

The Rea Brothers' Blues & BBQ kicks off with a Southern-style BBQ dinner that gets rolling at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 20. At 7:30 that night, the auction is hosting a blues concert.

Playing at show will be blues musicians Zac Harmon, Reba Russell and Eden Brent, who will be accompanied by their bands.

Then on Tuesday will be the sale, with consignments to include more than 1,100 vehicles. Offering units for are such consignors as Enterprise; RSA; Wheels; Hyundai Motor Finance; Kia Motors Finance; various banks offering fleet/lease and repossessed units; and dealers.

"Our Blues & BBQ is going to be the biggest event we have ever produced, offering lots of fun and great entertainment for the entire family as well as an amazing amount of great vehicles," stated Butch Royall, director of marketing for Rea Brothers'.

Continuing on, officials said the whole family can enjoy the event. Among the activities for children will be the clown "Inky" and face painting, and more.

The auction also emphasized that the sale will be simulcast.
