A seat on the Goodyear Blimp flying high above a stadium might be the best view in all of sports.
The company’s chief executive now has a seat of a different kind.
Mark Stewart, CEO and president of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and former North American chief operating officer at Stellantis, has been named to the board of directors at AutoNation.
Stewart, who has been Goodyear’s top executive since January 2024 after his time at Stellantis, will be an independent director on AutoNation’s board.
His background also includes time as vice president of customer fulfillment at Amazon along with senior roles at ZF TRW Automotive, TRW and Tower Automotive.
“Mark is a proven global leader with deep experience across the automotive, manufacturing, technology, and consumer sectors,” AutoNation board chairman Rick Burdick said in a news release.
