AutoNation said Monday it has hired former Nissan executive Jeremy Tucker as its new chief marketing officer, replacing Rich Lennox, who left the retailer after two years.
Tucker was most recently executive vice president, global chief marketing officer and chief franchise officer at Spin Master.
During his time at Nissan Motor Co., he was head of U.S. marketing.
Tucker’s background also includes time as CMO of Planet Fitness and vice president of strategic marketing at The Walt Disney Co.
Tucker will report to AutoNation CEO Mike Manley.
“Jeremy’s exceptional experience fostering brand loyalty, leading high-performing teams, and delivering innovative marketing strategies is aligned with our commitment to customer excellence,” Manley said in a news release.
