AutoNation showed off its newest showpiece with a grand reopening ceremony.

The national vehicle retailer debuted its new Porsche Newport Beach retail and service center in Newport Beach, Calif., last week following a “ground-up redevelopment” designed to deliver an “unparalleled luxury automotive experience.”

The grand reopening included “curated culinary stations” and comedy from America’s Got Talent finalist Taylor Williamson, as well as remarks from Newport Beach mayor Joe Stapleton, AutoNation leaders and Porsche Cars North America executives.

The event concluded with live music, specialty lounge activations and Porsche brand experiences.

“This new facility reflects our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience and setting the standard for luxury automotive retail,” AutoNation CEO Mike Manley said. “With its modern design, expanded capacity and state-of-the-art amenities, Porsche Newport Beach represents AutoNation’s ongoing investment in delivering world-class experiences across all of our stores.”

The redesigned two-story facility, which spans 60,000 square feet, features concierge-style service, including complimentary valet and a dedicated host for each visit. Themed model exhibits showcase classic and current vehicles. Porsche Pro consultants can use configuration tools and material samples to help customers create personalized vehicles.

The service showroom offers “signature refreshments” in the lounge, where customers can see their vehicle’s care in progress.

AutoNation, which operates more than 300 dealerships nationwide, said it expects the dealership to serve as a gathering place for Porsche enthusiasts with curated events, workshops and activations that “celebrate the Porsche community and the brand’s uncompromising standard of excellence.”
