Avis Budget Group’s Ultimate Test Drive — the company’s car sales initiative — is now accepting trade-in vehicles.
Avis Budget has collaborated with AutoNation for Ultimate Test Drive, which “offers consumers a no-haggle, no-hassle process and features a wide selection of late-model Avis and Budget rental vehicles for purchase at competitive prices.”
Shoppers simply go to either www.avis.com or www.budget.com to schedule an “ultimate test drive.” Through AutoNation Direct, these shoppers are assigned a Personal Auto Consultant.
This person can answer questions about financing and available warranties, while also collecting vehicle information from the shopper in order to provide a fair market value on his or her trade.
The customer can then apply that value toward a new-vehicle purchase.
