Car Wars’ new partnership has promise.

The provider of dealership phone systems announced it is integrating its artificial intelligence service scheduling tool Cari Scheduler into UpdatePromise, a service scheduling and communication platform for franchise dealerships.

In a news release, the companies said the collaboration helps dealerships improve service scheduling and appointment accuracy to create smoother service operations.

“UpdatePromise has earned the trust of franchise dealerships across the country,” Car Wars CEO Stephane Ferri said. “By integrating Cari directly into that platform, we’re giving dealers a way to automate scheduling without sacrificing the accuracy and reliability their operations depend on.”

Cari Scheduler is designed to handle the full service appointment conversation from start to finish — answering calls, booking appointments, processing changes and managing cancellations without involving an advisor. The scheduler is available around the clock and built on CRISP best practices, Car Wars said.

The integration provides a real-time connection between Cari and the UpdatePromise platform, the company said, allowing appointments to reflected as they are booked, changed or canceled, with no middleware layers or sync delays, keeping schedules from falling out of alignment.

“At UpdatePromise, our focus has always been on helping dealerships deliver a faster, more transparent service experience while improving operational performance,” UpdatePromise CEO Curtis Nixon said. “Integrating with Cari Scheduler gives dealers the ability to automate appointment scheduling without sacrificing accuracy or control. It’s a powerful combination that reduces friction for both the customer and the service team.”

The companies said dealerships using UpdatePromise will experience fewer missed or duplicated appointments due to real-time sync, better shop capacity management with accurate and timely scheduling data, less time spent on manual corrections and follow-up calls and more customers served without adding headcount.

Car Wars said the integration is particularly significant for dealerships operating under OEM scheduling requirements, as Cari works within those mandated workflows without workarounds, reconciliation or gaps.
