As has become routine, the launch of a Carvana/ADESA integrated auction-reconditioning facility has begotten the expansion of Carvana’s same-day delivery service.

The online used-car retailer announced it is bringing the service to the Seattle area in the wake of the July announcement that it was adding an inspection and reconditioning center to the ADESA Seattle wholesale auto auction.

Select local customers can now receive a vehicle as soon as the same day they place an order on Carvana.com. Seattle-area customers selling a car can get soon-as-same-day drop-off and pickup options after completing Carvana’s online appraisal process.

The company said the same-day is powered by Carvana’s e-commerce platform, first-party logistics fleet and regional inspection and reconditioning centers.

“After serving Seattle-area car buyers and sellers for many years, we’re proud to offer an even faster and more convenient Carvana experience with same-day delivery,” Carvana senior director of market operations and expansion Jacqueline Hearns said. “With our robust logistics network and regional infrastructure, it is now possible for customers in Seattle to go from online checkout to driveway delivery in a matter of hours.”

Carvana introduced same-day delivery in Arizona in 2023 and has since expanded the offering to select markets in 18 states. The company said it plans to add more markets as it ahead as its network of IRCs and logistics operations grows.
