It’s a new year, and for gearheads across the country, that means one thing: Daytona is near.
And for Carvana, that means having Jimmie Johnson’s No. 84 Toyota Camry XSE looking sharp for the NASCAR Cup Series season-opening Daytona 500, coming up Feb. 15.
Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion and owner of LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, will once again race in NASCAR’s signature event with a paint scheme designed by the online used-car retailer, now in its fifth year as his primary sponsor.
“We’ve shared an incredible journey with Jimmie and we’re excited for what’s ahead in our fifth year of partnership this season,” Carvana co-founder and chief brand officer Ryan Keeton said. “Jimmie’s drive, energy and authenticity always inspire us, and we can’t wait to see him take to the track at Daytona with this brand new design, marking another exciting chapter in our story together.”
In addition to the Carvana logo on the hood, this year’s custom design features interlocking halos that form a gradient across the body, which Carvana called “a visual nod to movement, connection and speed.” The design includes a prominent rear halo and yellow streaks from the wheels to “evoke light in motion.”
The scheme incorporates Johnson’s familiar neon accent, a “subtle signature that signals his return to the track where he’s twice claimed victory,” Carvana said in a news release.

“Carvana has been an incredible partner, and every season we’ve found new ways to celebrate what makes racing so special,” Johnson said. “This year’s scheme is sharp, it’s fresh, and I can’t wait for fans to see it on the track in Daytona.”
At ago 50, Johnson now competes in a limited number of events. In 2025, he appeared in two Cup races, finishing a strong third at Daytona and failing to finish the Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte, N.C., after a crash.
This year, Johnson has committed to race at Daytona and in the San Diego NASCAR Street Race, set for June 21 at Naval Base Coronado.
Carvana named title sponsor of pickleball’s PPA Masters
Carvana has taken its relationship with the Professional Pickleball Association a step further, becoming the title sponsor of The PPA Masters tournament, one of the PPA Tour’s largest Slam events.
The tournament, coming up next week at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif., will be renamed The Carvana Masters, which the company said strengthens its “longstanding commitment to pickleball fans, players and the sport’s continued growth.”
Carvana has been the title sponsor of the PPA Tour since October 2022 and renewed that deal with an extension this past May.
The company said its sponsorship of the Carvana Masters will help elevate the tournament’s fan and player experience with an expanded on-site Carvana presence that includes the Dink It Challenge and prize opportunities for fans.
