“Rush delivery” might best describe the moves Carvana made this week.
In addition to extending its partnership with Rush Soccer (more on that below), the automotive ecommerce platform announced that it would be expanding same-day vehicle delivery to the greater Jacksonville, Fla., area.
Through this expansion, select Jacksonville area customers can receive their vehicle the same day they order it on Carvana.com, and local sellers can arrange same-day pickup and drop-off when they complete the Carvana appraisal process.
“After serving car buyers and sellers in the Jacksonville area for many years, we’re excited to introduce an even faster and more convenient Carvana experience with same-day delivery,” said Jacqueline Hearns, Carvana’s senior director of market operations and expansion, in a news release.
“As we continue expanding our logistics network and regional operations, we’re making it easier than ever for eligible customers across Jacksonville to buy or sell a car on their schedule,” Hearns said.
Carvana launched its same-day delivery service in Arizona and it is now available in select markets throughout 20 states. It plans continue scaling same-day delivery regionally alongside its expansion of national logistics and reconditioning infrastructure.

Carvana extends youth soccer partnership
The other move Carvana made this week was just for kicks.
The company said Tuesday it has agreed to a multi-year extension of its partnership with Rush Soccer, said to be the largest youth soccer club in the world.
Carvana will remain the front-of-kit sponsor on all Rush game jerseys.
Additionally, Carvana and Rush are launching a $200,000 youth soccer scholarship fund to help reduce financial barriers for players throughout the league.
Applications open Jan. 1 and families can apply through their local Rush club.
The league is releasing new, custom-designed team jerseys with Carvana’s branding in January. The partnership will continue to include Carvana activations at select Rush events and content collaborations.
“Carvana has been an incredible partner from day one, and this renewal takes that commitment even further,” Rush Soccer CEO Justin Miller said in a news release. “The scholarship fund helps ensure cost isn’t what keeps a kid from playing. Together, Carvana and Rush are setting the standard for what a partnership in youth sports should look like.”
Carvana co-founder and chief brand officer Ryan Keeton added, “We’re proud to continue our partnership with Rush Soccer and expand our support for the players and families who are at the heart of it. We’ve seen how much being part of a team can mean to young athletes, and we’re excited to add the scholarship fund as part of our sponsorship to help more kids get on the field and experience that for themselves.”
