AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -

Chrysler Group LLC announced Monday a series of changes affecting its leadership team. Effective immediately, the company has a new president and chief executive officer of the Chrysler Brand.

Chosen for the position is Al Gardner, who was most recently director of Chrysler Group’s Southeast Business Center.

Gardner replaces Saad Chehab, who is now chief marketing officer of Maserati S.pA. worldwide, the company reported.

Next up, Steve Beahm, former vice president of U.S. Sales Operations, has been named the new senior vice president of supply chain management. This move is effective Jan. 1.

The president and CEO of the Dodge Brand — Tim Kuniskis — will now be assuming responsibility for the company’s fleet operations, as well.

Pete Grady, who formerly held that responsibility, has been named president and CEO of Maserati North America Inc.

The company said Grady will retain his Chrysler Group Dealer Network responsibilities as vice president dealer network development. Both of these appointments are effective immediately.

In related moves, Robert Graczyk has been appointed head of sales for Australia for all Fiat and Chrysler brands, effective immediately.

Graczyk previously served as president and CEO of Maserati North America.

Lastly, Jeffrey Kommor has been named president of U.S. sales operations, effective Jan. 1.

Previously, Kommor served as director of the company's Northeast Business Center.

Commenting on the news, Sergio Marchionne, Chrysler Group chairman and CEO said,  "All of these appointments represent important recognition of the positive contribution that each individual has brought to the organization. We continue to value the talent within our walls, as we grow strong leaders and provide opportunities for top performers."
