Corwin Automotive Group likes Colorado Springs so much it bought another dealership there.
The Fargo, N.D.-based dealership group has acquired Groove Honda in Colorado Springs. Colo., according to Pinnacle Mergers and Acquisitions, which advised on the transaction.
The dealership, which has been renamed Corwin Honda of Colorado Springs, is Corwin’s second in the market, joining Corwin Toyota of Colorado Springs.
“Honda in Colorado Springs is a unique opportunity for us to expand in a market we love with a brand we believe in,” Corwin partner and chief financial officer Dan Wilson said. “This is a great opportunity for our company as we continue to look for outstanding opportunities like this one.”
Corwin, a fourth-generation family-owned business founded in 1914, now operates 17 dealership locations and two collision centers in eight states in the Midwest and Northwest.
