Arrowhead Luxury Cars is celebrating the season of giving by partnering with the Homeless Engagement Lift Partnership to support homeless and displaced families in the Glendale, Ariz., community.
The dealership group, which operates BMW, Jaguar-Land Rover, Volvo and INEOS Grenadier stores in Glendale, has been collecting toys for children of all ages and connecting community members with families in need through the Adopt-A-Family program.
Wednesday, at Arrowhead BMW, Arrowhead will present H.E.L.P. with the toys collected, which will then be delivered directly to local families by Santa to bring every child joy during the holiday season.
In addition, Arrowhead will donate a car to a family in need, helping provide long-term stability and independence.
“Reliable transportation restores dignity and opens doors,” H.E.L.P. co-founder Dawn Marie Rapaport said. “For a family in crisis, a car can be the first step toward lasting hope.”
This is the fifth year of Arrowhead’s partnership with H.E.L.P., which serves children from newborn through age 18. Its Adopt-A-Family program allows community members to meet the needs of entire families facing hardship.

H.E.L.P. was established by Dawn Marie and Michael Rapaport in 2012 to break the cycle of homelessness by providing support, immediate aid and comfort to at-risk, displaced and homeless children in the community.
“The season of giving is an incredibly meaningful time for our team,” Arrowhead BMW executive manager Edwin Sarhad said. “The generosity we see from our community each year is truly inspiring and we’re grateful for the opportunity to support H.E.L.P. in making a difference for families who need it most.”
Rick Case volunteers provide turkey dinners for military families
Members of Rick Case Cares, led by Rick Case Automotive national parts and service director Ryan Case, volunteered with United Way Broward’s 10th annual Operation Turkey Dinner, part of the South Florida nonprofit’s Mission United initiative.
Rick Case Cares is the dealership group’s community outreach and philanthropic arm.
In November, the Rick Case team helped pack and distribute more than 800 meal kits for local veterans and their families. Each meal kit, designed to feed a family of four, included traditional holiday essentials including instant stuffing, mashed potatoes, cornbread mix, marshmallows, canned vegetables, pie crust, pumpkin pie mix, cranberry sauce, evaporated milk, aluminum foil and a $25 Publix gift card to complete their holiday feast.
Rick Case Automotive Group has donated $100,000 to United Way Broward to fund various programs, including Operation Turkey Dinner, Rides by Rita, Backpack Broward and Read Across America.
Rides by Rita, launched this year, provides transportation for veterans to and from doctor appointments. Backpack Broward provides children of veterans and active-duty military members with backpacks filled with essential school supplies heading into the school year.
In March, Rick Case Automotive president and CEO Rita Case will celebrate Read Across America with United Way by reading to students at Sunland Park Academy School in Fort Lauderdale. All 500 students at the elementary school will take home a book.
