Asbury Automotive Group’s selling spree continues.
The Atlanta-based dealership group completed its third divestiture of the month with the sale of its Larry H. Miller Ford, Chevrolet and Stellantis dealerships in Provo, Utah to Salt Lake Valley Auto Group, a deal announced by sell-side advisor Kerrigan Advisors.
Asbury sold Larry H. Miller stores in Lemon Grove, Calif., and Corona, Calif., earlier in June.
All five of the recently sold dealerships were among the 61 acquired by Asbury in its $3.2 billion purchase of the Larry H. Miller Dealerships in December 2021.
In a news release, Kerrigan said the sales are part of Asbury’s “strategy to optimize the group’s brand mix.”
During its first quarter earnings call in May, Asbury noted it had divested six dealerships in 2024 and two more in the first quarter of 2025.
Of course, Asbury has been busy this year on the acquisition side, too, having announced a deal to add The Herb Chambers Company’s 33 dealerships in February. Asbury currently operates some 150 locations in 13 states.
“Asbury’s approach to portfolio management is a great example of how the buy/sell market continues to evolve,” Kerrigan Advisors founder and managing director Erin Kerrigan said, “with well-capitalized groups thoughtfully rebalancing their assets to align with long-term growth goals.”
Salt Lake Valley Auto Group, owned by the Keyvani family and led by president Keyvan Keyvani, adds its new dealerships in Provo to the four stores it operates in the Salt Lake City area. The group was founded in 1983.
