OAKVILLE, Ontario –
Ford Motor Co. of Canada will officially have a new president and chief executive officer on Tuesday to replace David Mondragon, who is moving on to serve as general marketing manager in the U.S. for Ford and Lincoln.
Stepping into the role is Dianne Craig, who has been with the company since 1986. Her most recent position was in the U.S., serving as the general manger for the Southeast market area. Craig was in that position since March 2009 and headed up all marketing, sales and service operations for 520 Ford dealers throughout five Southeastern states.
During her 25 years with the company, Craig’s experience has included a wide array of sales and marketing posts. These roles have dealt with advertising, product marketing, contests and incentives, as well as field operations.
Additionally, Craig headed up the company’s U.S. dealer relations arm.
“Dave’s contributions to Ford of Canada during the last three years have been significant. He led the team through one of the most tumultuous times in the industry and successfully grew the business, bringing new customers to Ford,” said Mark Fields, Ford’s president of The Americas. “This positive marketplace momentum will continue to build as Dianne shares her extensive dealer relations skills, sales background and marketing expertise with the Ford of Canada team.”
