Mach10 Automotive, an industry firm offering advisory services including dealer operations improvement and succession planning, announced the hiring of Carsten Preisz as chief marketing officer.

Mach10 said Preisz will lead the marketing function including its branding and PR initiatives, as well as support the sales department in its efforts to develop new business opportunities.

“We are delighted Carsten has joined our team,” Mach10 president and CEO George Pero said in a news release. “Carsten brings deep and very relevant automotive industry and retail marketing experience to the table.

“He has demonstrated significant results and accomplishments in both start-up and established automotive businesses,” Pero continued. “His vast marketing expertise will prove to be invaluable as we continue to grow our sales of Mach10’s current advisory and service offerings as well as introduce new game-changing products in our ever-evolving industry.”

Preisz possesses wide-ranging experience in sales, marketing, branding, and PR from holding senior management and executive positions. Preisz’ career includes 18 years with luxury OEMs, including Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

One of the highlights of Preisz’ career thus far was the introduction of Dutch luxury and supercar brand Spyker in the Americas, for which he was responsible.

In his most recent role as chief marketing officer at Market Scan, Preisz’ contribution was instrumental in his previous employer being acquired by S&P Global.

“I am very excited about joining Mach10’s talented, and entrepreneurial minded team,” Preisz said. “Our industry is in flux following COVID-19. Most automotive retailers are striving to improve the performance of their operations during a time when consumer shopping habits have changed dramatically.

“Mach10 is uniquely positioned to partner with dealers to offer customized advisory and business management services designed to improve performance and profitability,” he went on to say.
