GoTo has upgraded its artificial intelligence-powered communications platform for auto dealers.
The cloud communications and information technology provider said the new features of GoTo Connect for Automotive include enhanced CRM and DMS integrations, 24/7 automatic AI service scheduling and real-time reporting.
In a news release, the company said the advances allow every dealership team, from the showroom floor to the service bay to work more effectively and to communicate, analyze and optimize every step of the customer journey with a “modern, growth-oriented platform.”
On of the new features is an AI receptionist with scheduling capabilities, which Michaela Hill, communications manager of Rick Hill Imports in Kingsport, Tenn., said is “a tool that once you implement, you won’t know how you lived without.”
In the release, Hill said, “We have always struggled with the issue of no matter how many employees we have answering the phones, there are always missed calls. This tool helps us catch any overflow and takes a huge load off our service advisors so they can better focus on the people standing in front of them.”
The new and expanded integrations include BLiNK AI, DealerSocket and Reynolds & Reynolds FOCUS.

The platform can now use CRM data to route incoming calls to the right team member, with dynamic call routing that directs calls based on criteria such as time of day, caller intent and call source to reduce transfers and resolution times.
GoTo Connect’s AI-powered service scheduling answers every call, automatically books appointments and turn overflow and missed calls into booked service, the company said. Through integration with Xtime, appointments are scheduled and transferred directly into the DMS.
Every customer interaction is analyzed by AI to identify issues and improve consistency, and alerts notify dealership leaders about high-risk or high-intent calls based on sentiment, keywords or calls. GoTo said inbound calls can be tracked to pinpoint which marketing campaigns and channels drive leads, while Number Reputation ensures outbound calls are answered by protecting the dealership’s phone numbers from being flagged as spam or fraud.
