Asbury Automotive Group’s Park Place Dealerships has some groundbreaking news.

The company announced it has broken ground on a new facility in Dallas that will include a Porsche dealership and a Volvo service facility.

The 15-acre site, which Park Place purchased in December 2024, will be the new home of Park Place Porsche, which currently operates across the street, as well as a Volvo service center adjacent to its existing Volvo dealership.

Both projects are expected to be completed in 2027.

“We believe these projects allow us to elevate the experience for both Porsche and Volvo clients in a meaningful way,” Asbury president and CEO David Hult said. “The new Porsche dealership is expected to be one of the premier Porsche dealerships in the country, with the ability to serve clients at the highest level.

“At the same time, bringing the Volvo service center onto the property adds a level of convenience our clients truly value, creating a more seamless, efficient experience from the moment a client arrives onsite.”

The Park Place Volvo dealership has been under renovation for the past eight months and is expected to be completed in early 2027. In a news release, Asbury said the expanded sales facility will feature a new exterior and interior with a new showroom and a client lounge that it called “the living room of the dealership,” offering comfortable seating, a self-serve coffee bar, and “room for conversations with Park Place sales and service advisors.”
