HOUSTON –
Group 1 Automotive recently announced it has acquired another East Coast store — a dealership the company expects to generate $70 million in estimated annual revenues.
The company has added Rivertown Ford in Columbus, Ga., to its group of dealerships.
"I am delighted to strengthen our relationship with Ford Motor Company and expand our existing footprint in Georgia with the addition of Rivertown Ford," said Earl Hesterberg, Group 1's president and chief executive officer.
In other recent company news, Group 1 also revealed in has disposed of a Nissan dealerships in the Boston market area and an Audi dealership in the United Kingdom that generated $42.4 million in total trailing-12-month revenues.
