INDIANAPOLIS -

Buy-here, pay-here dealership chain J.D. Byrider recently announced a promotion and the addition of three new team members to support the company’s franchise growth and development.

Promoted to the position of director of franchise development is Jack Humbert, who has assisted development efforts as a senior franchise consultant for the past two years.

In his new role, the company indicated Humbert will be integral to the franchising team by leading and cultivating new growth and maintaining relationships with current store operators.

“This promotion is aligned with our strategy of expanding the number of franchisees within our system and providing field-facing support to our existing franchise community to enable them to expand their footprint,” said Tom Welter, vice president of franchising.

“Jack brings to us a tremendous amount of experience with banking relationships and operational excellence and has applied those disciplines to our franchisees in a consultant role over the past two years,” Welter continued. “I am excited about having him on my development team, helping us to continue our accelerated growth.”

Prior to joining J.D. Byrider, Humbert was a district market manager for Wells Fargo.

Meanwhile, the company highlighted Andrew Cavallaro has joined its dealer services team as a key account manager to be responsible for lead exchange and analytics for services offered to franchisees.

“Our priority in the J.D. Byrider Dealer Services group is to partner with our franchisees to help them sell more vehicles as profitably as possible while ensuring that our customers have great satisfaction in their sales and service experience,” Welter stated.

“Andrew is a key leader in that equation bringing a wealth of knowledge regarding the customer experience from one of the nation’s largest retailers, Best Buy, and we are excited to have him on our field-facing team,” Welter went on to say.

Cavallaro arrived at J.D. Byrider with experiences in sales team leadership and a background in financial analysis.

Furthermore, the company revealed David Borshoff and David McMahon recently joined J.D. Byrider as franchise consultants. Officials explained both individuals will be responsible for supporting J.D. Byrider franchisees, advising for operational and financial improvement, and building leadership teams in each region.

“Our franchise consultants are our experts in our field support system, helping our franchisees achieve their goals while ensuring our customers receive exceptional experiences at all of our locations,” Welter reiterated.

“Dave McMahon and Dave Borshoff bring us a strategic and operational skill set that will enable us to continue to achieve our goal as a best-in-class franchisor,” Welter added.

Borshoff joined J.D Byrider in 2003 and previously held the position of director of service and vendor relations for the company’s stores division.

Prior to time with J.D. Byrider, Borshoff worked with two large automotive parts distribution companies in various management and development positions and has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry.
