Delavan Holdings has taken a “significant milestone” with the addition of a chief technology officer for the first time.
Shawn Theesfeld has been hired to fill the role, which Delavan Holdings said “showcases the company’s continued growth and commitment to advancing its technology capabilities.”
Delavan Holdings is an umbrella company created by Delavan, Wisc.-based dealership group Kunes Auto & RV Group to oversee and support all of its business entities, including an auto financing company, an e-commerce fulfillment company, a lakeside resort and a youth retreat center.
In a news release, the company said the move marks a “strategic step” toward unifying and improving its technology infrastructure and innovation efforts, building on existing services in human resources, payroll, legal and marketing.
Theesfeld is responsible for leading the development and execution of Delavan Holdings’ enterprise-wide technology strategy, focusing on infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, systems integration and the adoption of advanced tools, including AI, to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Chief marketing officer Jen Myers said Theesfeld is a strong addition at a “pivotal time for our company.”
