Specifically, there were 160,206 CPO sales during the month, which marked a 9.6-percent year-over-year increase and a 6.1-percent jump from July, said Autodata. The firm noted that Kia, Mazda, Mini and Subaru each had their best month of all time for CPO sales (August or otherwise).
The first eight months of the year brought in 1.23 million certified sales, a 5.4-percent increase from the same period of 2011.
