New General Manager Named at Manheim Halifax

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia –
Manheim Canada announced this week there is a new general manager at Manheim Halifax. Appointed to the role is Howard Connolly.
The company shared that Connolly brings more than 30 years of automotive and auction experience to the role.
His career includes 16 years in the remarketing industry serving in a variety of roles including auction operations manager, assistant general manager and most recently, auction general manager in Halifax since 2007, the company shared.
He also spent six years as Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group’s remarketing manager for Canada, and 14 years with Avis Rent a Car.
“We are very happy to have Howard on board,” said Jerry Tassone, Manheim’s market vice president of Northeast Operations.
“His background and understanding of this market provides a great opportunity for both our customers and our employees.”
