Nissan Canada President to Retire; Replacement Named

FRANKLIN, Tenn. –
Nissan Canada president Allen Childs is retiring on Jan. 1 after two decades with the automaker, Nissan announced Wednesday.
Moving into the leadership position at Nissan Canada will be Christian Meunier, who is currently the president of Nissan Brazil.
That move will also be effective Jan. 1.
Childs has been president of Nissan Canada since 2010. During his time with the automaker, he has served in regional operations, dealer operations, parts and service and marketing.
He was named vice president of Nissan Canada sales in 2002 then moved back to Nissan North America four years later as VP of parts and service.
As for Meunier, he came aboard Nissan Europe in 2002, taking on the role of general manager of sales and fleet. His various positions since then have included Nissan Europe’s VP of sales and NNA’s VP of marketing.
