What prompted/inspired you to join the auto industry and what do you enjoy most about it?
I was inspired to join the auto industry because I’ve always enjoyed helping people and building relationships, and this business gives you the opportunity to do both every day. Buying a vehicle is a major decision, so being able to guide customers through that process and help them find something that truly fits their needs is very rewarding.

What I love most about the business is the people; the customers, the employees, and the relationships I’ve built over the years. I’ve always enjoyed helping my team grow and creating a positive environment where people feel supported. The industry is fast-paced and always changing, which keeps things interesting, but at the end of the day it’s really all about the people.

What is the top trend you’re watching in the used-car industry this year?

One of the biggest trends I’m seeing in the used-car industry right now is how much affordability is affecting buying decisions. People are holding onto their vehicles longer, shopping more carefully, and really looking for dependable pre-owned options that fit their budget. I think the dealerships that focus on being honest, building trust, and taking care of their customers are the ones that are going to stand out the most.

What accomplishment are you most proud of in your career?
The thing I’m most proud of in my career is the relationships I’ve built with our employees. I always wanted people to feel supported, respected, and like they had someone in their corner. Being able to help people grow, build confidence, and succeed meant more to me than any title or number ever could. Seeing employees move up and knowing they felt valued is probably the most rewarding part of my career.

What book, film or song has inspired you personally or professionally?
One movie that’s always inspired me is “The Shawshank Redemption.” I’ve always connected with the message about never giving up, no matter how tough things get. It’s a story about patience, resilience, and keeping hope alive, and that’s something that’s stuck with me both personally and professionally. Plus, it’s just one of those movies you can watch over and over and still take something from every time.

Who is someone who has inspired you personally or professionally?
My mom has always been one of my biggest inspirations. She was a director of nursing for over 30 years and somehow balanced taking care of patients, leading people, and raising a family all at the same time. Being the oldest of 10 kids made her tough, hardworking, and someone everyone could count on. She’s strong, outspoken, and never backed down from a challenge. Watching the way she handled life, work, and people around her taught me a lot about leadership, confidence, and treating people the right way.
