Sheehy Auto Stores Supports Federal Employees Through 2 Initiatives

In light of the government shutdown, many dealership groups and manufacturers are taking measures to support furloughed federal employees. Hyundai, for instance, announced it would defer all auto loan and lease payments during the shutdown for current Hyundai owners who are furloughed.
And late last week, Sheehy Auto Stores said it will support federal employees during the government shutdown through two new initiatives.
First, every Sheehy dealership will offer a free oil change to anyone with current federal government photo identification. The oil change is limited to one per person.
The company will also provide a 90-day payment deferral program for all qualified customers affected by the shutdown who are purchasing a new or used vehicle.
Sheehy Auto Stores partnered with a local bank to set up the deferment program.
This perk also requires valid federal photo identification
"Many of our long-time customers have been affected by the unfortunate government shutdown," said Vince Sheehy, president of Sheehy Auto Stores. "We want to do what we can to show our support and help those in many of the communities we serve who may need assistance at this trying time."
