Vehlo grows dealership service offerings with acquisition of Dealer Pay

Vehlo made a move to expand its reach into dealership service departments with the acquisition of Dealer Pay, a provider of dealer-specific payment processing systems.
The auto repair industry software provider said the acquisition aims to boost its dealership service lane offerings with “seamless, dealer-focused payment solutions.”
Presidio Technology Partners served as Dealer Pay’s financial advisor for the transaction.
Dealer Pay’s platform is designed to address the unique needs of dealerships with secure credit card processing, compliant surcharging, DMS integrations, customer communication tools and loyalty programs, as well as reporting optionality at both the dealership level and for larger groups.
Vehlo said the addition of Dealer Pay allows its dealership customers to optimize operations, improve embedded payment workflows and elevate customer experiences while enhancing dealer profit margins.
“At Vehlo, we have always been focused on empowering vehicle service teams with solutions that make their jobs easier and businesses more profitable,” CEO Josh Weis said. “Dealer Pay perfectly aligns with our mission by enhancing the dealership experience with modern, dealer-specific payment features that simplify the customer experience and drive loyalty.”
The companies said Dealer Pay will continue with its dealer-specific focus while gaining access to Vehlo’s broader resources and services, creating a stronger offering for dealers.
“Joining Vehlo opens an exciting new chapter for Dealer Pay,” Dealer Pay founder Julie Douglas said. “By combining our expertise and innovation in both the dealership and payments space, along with Vehlo’s commitment to dealership success, we’re confident this partnership will provide unmatched value for dealerships and their customers.”
