ZT Automotive has added ultra-luxury to its collection.
The Badar Family Office, which owns the dealer group, said Tuesday it has acquired McLaren Charlotte and Rolls-Royce Cars Charlotte in North Carolina.
These stores will become part of the new ZT Automotive Collection and operated by ZT Automotive. Both entities are owned by the Badar Family Office.
The purchase expands ZT Automotive’s store count to 18 dealerships and extends the group into the ultra-luxury market, adding the McLaren, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Koenigsegg, Czinger and Midwest Automotive Designs brands.
“This is an exciting new chapter for the Badar Family Office and the continued evolution of our automotive portfolio. McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Koenigsegg, Czinger, and the other brands represented are the very highest standards of craftsmanship and luxury,” said Taseer Badar, founder and CEO of Badar Family Office and dealer principal of ZT Automotive.
“As we continue building the ZT Automotive Collection, entering the ultra-luxury segment is a natural progression that aligns with our long-term vision and the interests of many of our stakeholders. We are honored to become stewards of these iconic brands and look forward to delivering an ownership experience that is every bit as distinctive as the vehicles themselves.”

Zeeshan Shaikh is operating partner and president of ZT Automotive. In the release, Shaikh adds, “Ultra luxury is a niche market with very few franchise points in the country, and opportunities like this rarely come to market. That is exactly why it fits our strategy. We have spent years building operational depth across volume and luxury brands, and the ZT Automotive Collection is where that experience meets the very top of the market.
“Charlotte is the right place to build it, and we are excited to have Ryan Moreno and Ryan Wildrick joining us on this journey. Their experience and reputation in the luxury space make them the right partners as we continue growing the Collection together.”
Moreno and Wildrick will continue to be “key partners in the business,” the company said.
Each will be an executive vice president of ZT Automotive Collection.
“We have built this business around exceptional relationships, a deep passion for these brands and a commitment to serving our clients at the highest level,” Moreno said. “We are proud of the foundation we have created and excited to partner with the Badar Family Office as we continue growing in one of the country’s most dynamic luxury automotive markets.”
Wildrick added: “Representing brands like McLaren and Rolls-Royce comes with a responsibility to deliver an ownership experience that matches the caliber of the vehicles themselves. This partnership allows us to continue to invest in the people, facilities and service capabilities that our clients expect.”
