Dealership software provider Reynolds and Reynolds has partnered with TrueSpot, a real-time location services company, following a “significant investment” by Reynolds.

In a news release, Reynolds said the partnership underscores its focus on innovative technologies to help auto retailers be more successful, and TrueSpot’s commitment to advancing asset location intelligence.

TrueSpot’s platform is designed to help dealerships increase efficiency across their variable and fixed operations and reconditioning departments by reducing holding costs, avoiding lost-key expenses, cutting wait time and enhancing customer service.

TrueSpot was selected in 2022 as one of Cherokee Media Group’s Emerging 8, which recognizes innovative companies that improve a specific aspect of the automotive industry through technology.

“This investment marks a vote of confidence in TrueSpot’s innovative and multi-patented AQFind platform,” TrueSpot CEO Mike Hanna said in a news release. “TrueSpot’s platform enables dealerships to harness the power of real-time tracking and location intelligence to manage their assets, workflows and operations more efficiently.”

The companies said AQFind automatically analyzes geospatial data and location-specific insights to drive workflow transformation and help dealers make informed decisions about their operations. Dealers can access visual representations of the insights through smart maps, dashboards and reporting.

Hanna said Reynolds is the right fit for a collaboration with his company.

“Its investment and shared vision will undoubtedly expedite our growth, enabling us to fulfill our commitment to deliver the power of location data and intelligence to the retail automotive ecosystem, and particularly dealerships,” he said.
