ServNet Expands Midwestern Presence with New Auction

The ServNet Auction Group recently added the 28th member to its ranks, expanding its presence in the Midwest by bringing in Nebraska Auto Auction.
The auction was founded in 2008 by owner Eric Bigler, whose industry experience includes time as a dealer. In 1991, Bigler got his start at a franchised dealership before buying own store — Bigler Motors — 13 years ago.
“I like to say that Nebraska Auto Auction is for dealers, by dealers, because we have firsthand knowledge of the business from both sides of the street,” said Bigler. “Our decision to open the auction was a direct result of our experience as an auto dealer.
“We had done business with other auto auctions in the area, but felt there was something missing. We wanted to add more of a personal touch, and we didn’t want our dealers to feel like they were just a ‘number,’” he continued. “We founded our auction on the principle that every customer, no matter how many cars bought or sold each week, is critical to our success as a business.”
ServNet president Charles Nichols gave Bigler and his auction an official welcome to the group at an owners’ event in Detroit recently.
“We are pleased to report that ServNet has further strengthened its position in the Midwest with the addition of Nebraska Auto Auction,” Nichols commented.
“Since founding the auction in 2008, Eric Bigler and his staff have established an exceptionally well-run facility that has differentiated itself from the competition by its focus on customer service,” he added.
“In three short years, the auction has developed a tremendously loyal customer base made up of dealers throughout the region and beyond who depend on Nebraska Auto Auction as a vital partner in the business of buying and selling vehicles,” Nichols continued.
Sharing more about the auction, officials noted that the Nebraska AA features a consignment of more than 300 units each week. The three-lane facility also offers pre-sale services like transportation, reconditioning and detailing, air brushing, paintless dent removal, mechanical service and glass replacement.
It holds sales at 10:30 a.m. CT each Tuesday and also holds a muscle/specialty car sale twice a year. Those muscle/specialty car sales are in the spring and fall and are held usually at an indoor arena.
“Being named a ServNet auction is such an honor for us at Nebraska Auto Auction,” Bigler shared. "We have tremendous respect for the owners of the ServNet auctions, and admire all that they have done not just for their own auctions but for the industry at large over the years.
“As a fairly new auction, we are eager to learn and grow, and are looking forward to our association with the ServNet auction owners who have established some of the very best facilities in the country,” he added.
