Subaru Taps Dealer.com Exec as New Marketing Chief

Subaru of America turned to the digital sector of the auto industry to find its new chief marketing officer. The company announced late last week that taking on the CMO post effective Sept. 7 is Dean Evans, who most recently held that same role with Dealer.com.
His 23 years of experience in the auto industry includes time as director of global customer relations for Jaguar Land Rover Aston Martin and time with Chrysler, serving as a general manager at a dealership.
In Evans’ new post, he will report to Tom Doll, chief operating officer and executive vice president of Subaru of America.
“We are very excited to have Dean join us,” Doll stated. “Dean brings extensive experience in automotive marketing and sales and will give additional focus to our efforts to bring even more new customers to Subaru and to drive higher loyalty with our current customers.”
