ARI Introduces Faster Insights System

Faster is better when it comes to technology, and one company has announced product improvements with that in mind.
ARI this week introduced the improved ARI insights web-based and mobile fleet management system, which the company says can collect and integrate critical vehicle and driver data from around the world and provide it to fleet clients faster than ever before.
Features of insights include an intuitive user interface and a redesigned navigation tool meant to enhance the user experience and reduce overall training time, ARI officials said.
Other improvements include streamlined processes, a more meaningful menu structure, and additional customizable fields.
“We approached this redesign as we do all of our projects — with the customer in mind,” said Tony Candeloro, ARI vice president of product development. “We worked closely with our customers to understand how they were using ARI insights and what improvements and changes would make their experience better, and then used those findings as our foundation for moving forward.
“Our goals were to improve site appearance and navigation, streamline processes and improve the overall user experience, and reduce training time for new and occasional users,” Candeloro said. “I think the new ARI insights system not only meets but exceeds those goals, and these enhancements will significantly improve the customer experience.”
The ARI insights system can alert fleet managers to issues, the company said, while offering tools for avoiding problems and improved communication with drivers to help control costs and ensure compliance.
ARI noted that the “one-of-a-kind comprehensive reporting capabilities” available through insights can also help customers evaluate total spending before making key decisions.
ARI’s 2012 partnership with SAP made it one of the first companies in the world to use the SAP HANA platform to boost speed. Since adopting that technology, ARI has earned recognition in Constellation Research’s 2012 SuperNova Awards, a Bronze Stevie Award in the Tech Innovation of the Year category at the 10th annual American Business Awards, and a 2012 Fleet Europe Industry Award, the company noted.
