AutoLoop — a  provider of marketing solutions for customer relationship management in the car business — has launched a new equity mining solution, known as AutoLoop Quote, that is designed to help dealers target potential new-car customers with automated vehicle quotes.

The product is designed directly into the AutoLoop Essentials multi-channel platform. It is designed to seamlessly integrate with the DMS to translate ownership data into relevant vehicle upgrade offers to be presented to selected customers through multiple mediums.

The company spent more than a year to build the program and has been field-testing it for months. It indicated that pilot dealerships have reported sales exceeding 12 percent of new-car volume, with more than 4 percent of all automated vehicle quotes converted to actual sales on a four-week average.

AutoLoop said expected conversions will likely be larger based on increased usage.

“When we set out to build this sales accelerator, our goal was to design it so simple it would always get used and never sit idle on dealer desktops,” said Matt Rodeghero, the company’s chief product officer.

“We had to engineer Quote to be consistently reliable and virtually foolproof,” he continued. “VIN cleansing with the DMS, sales lead sheets, and multimode communications were all considered essential to assure success.

“We even created an on-site, mobile lane application within our existing service scheduling application so current service customers could be targeted with ‘real-time’ communications and same day, on-site follow-up.”

AutoLoop Quote uses Black Book valuations adjusted for estimated mileage, current equity and lease/purchase options, and all relevant incentives also integrate current Edmunds.com data to provide a comparative true cost of ownership.

Because the solution is tied to existing inventory in the dealership, the store can get vehicles to interested customers quickly and easily, the company said.

Through on-demand marketing options or pre-set monthly “fishing” programs, dealers can capture next-car purchasing of customers already engaged in a relationship with the dealership.

AutoLoop Quote is designed to go beyond engaging service customers by aggressively targeting qualified prospects for new-vehicle sales with automated vehicle quotes.

It can provide dealers with active business development centers with crucial prospect information to accelerate and simplify their sales efforts.  Additionally, the knowledge gleaned from the consolidated customer data in the AutoLoop system is routinely applied through dynamic updates enhancing the overall market effectiveness, officials noted.
