BizzyCar is going beyond recalls.

The recall management platform has launched Service Engine, an artificial intelligence-driven outbound service department system designed to automatically identify service opportunities and book appointments without the intervention of the dealer.

In a news release, BizzyCar said the Service Engine can help dealerships fill service lanes, increase customer-pay revenue and operate more efficiently while maintaining a high-quality customer experience.

The AI agent outperforms human call center agents with a 52% conversion rate, the company said, noting the technology understands dealer preferences and remembers past conversations.

BizzyCar said Service Engine, built on the same foundation that powers BizzyCar’s recall management platform, was developed in response to dealer feedback and requests to expand the technology into broader customer relationships and non-recall service opportunities.

“Dealers are under constant pressure to keep service lanes full without adding staff,” BizzyCar CEO Ryan Maher said. “Service Engine lets them do just that.”

Service Engine is designed to automatically identify service opportunities, conduct two-way conversations via text and schedule appointments for common service needs. BizzyCar said it can drive first service visits, manage next service intervals, recover declined services and reengage with lost customers.

When human intervention is needed — based on dealer-defined rules — the AI agent hands the case off to the dealership’s BDC with a summary, allowing staff to respond quickly.

The AI agent handles customer conversations and appointment scheduling, synced directly to the dealership’s scheduler, the company said. All activity, ticket handling and conversion data appear in the Service Engine dashboard.

Customer information, service history and appointment details are all available in a single interface through DMS integration, allowing BDC agents and service personnel to view AI-handled conversations, access customer and service details in a centralized details panel and schedule appointments that automatically write back to the dealer’s system.

The system gives managers visibility into both AI and team performance, including appointment volume, show rates and team metrics, through the Service Engine dashboard.

Service Engine will be unveiled at NADA Show 2026, coming up Feb. 3-6 in Las Vegas, and will be available as an add-on for dealerships using BizzyCar’s Recall Management platform.
