Carvana announces 12th new market of 2016

CLEVELAND –
Carvana has launched in Cleveland, which is the 12th market the online retailer has added this year, the company said in a news release.
Wednesday’s launch brings Carvana’s total market count to 21. It is also the farthest north that Carvana has launched.
The company’s previous launches in Ohio include Columbus and Cincinnati.
Just before Thanksgiving, Carvana reached its 20th market with its launch in Indianapolis.
“We’ve expanded our free, as-soon-as next-day delivery services to a dozen new markets this past year, and Cleveland marks our northernmost city we’ve entered thus far,” said Ernie Garcia, founder and chief executive officer of Carvana. “We think there is a lot of demand for the Carvana car-buying experience throughout the Great Lakes region, and there is a high concentration of early tech adopters in Cleveland.
“With those factors considered, we’re really excited to bring a better and more enjoyable way to buy a car to the area,” he added.

As it has done in other markets, Carvana will refund delivery fees for early adopters in Cleveland who previously bought a car from the company.
