Cox Automotive announced a partnership with Toyota Motor North America to integrate Cox’s VinSolutions with the automaker’s digital retailing platforms.

The Vin Desking features of VinSolutions’ CRM and Deal Central are now integrated with Toyota SmartPath and Lexus MONOGRAM retailing, which Cox said allows “a seamless consumer experience” from online to in-store and a consumer-to-management workflow designed to support “end-to-end experiences.”

In a news release, Cox said the integration lets sales managers push deals directly from the SmartPath/MONOGRAM mobile sales tablet and management console into VinSolutions for desking capability. According to SmartPath system data, that saves users up to 15 minutes per deal by reducing or eliminating manual re-keying, while also improving data accuracy and alignment with Toyota and Lexus deal structure.

In its release, Cox quoted Gabe Ariyajasingam, sales manager of Lexus Akron Canton in Akron, Ohio, who said the integration “makes a real difference for our team.”

“We spend less time confirming and re-keying details and more time engaging the customer. It simplifies the handoff and provides a better customer experience.”
