BURLINGTON, Vt. -

Dealers have a new tool when it comes to identifying vendors and technologies to help them run their showrooms, thanks to a company that also named a new chief financial officer this week.

Calling the launch a “true plug-and-play system,”  Dealer.com on Monday introduced its Certified Provider Program, featuring technology and service providers that have proven ROI for automotive dealers.

“We are at the heart of digital marketing for approximately 12,000 dealers across the U.S., so we have a strong sense of what technologies and services dealers are using and how,” said Mike Lane, chief operating officer for Dealer.com.

“Our Certified Provider Program helps dealers easily identify which vendors and technologies work well together with Dealer.com products and services. We've made it a true plug-and-play system,” he said.

Companies within the Dealer.com Certified Provider Program are fully integrated into the company's comprehensive solution. As a result, customers can access analytics from their providers in one location via Dealer.com's ControlCenter, the company said, and review results in the context of their overall marketing performance.

Dealer.com's newest certified providers include HookLogic and MS Cloud Services; Contact At Once became a certified provider in February 2013.

All of the companies under the Certified Provider Program meet the TRUSTe criteria for data security, company officials said, and are accessible through the UpgradeCenter in Dealer.com's ControlCenter.

Among the first products featured in the Upgrade Center under the Certified Provider Program are:

—HookLogic's Web2Show , which converts website traffic to showroom visits through intelligent incentives

—HookLogic's Lead2Show, which drives showroom traffic by applying specific targeting criteria to third-party leads

—Microsoft Office 365 email services from MS Cloud Services, which provides added cloud-based synchronization and multi-device accessibility

—Chat Connect from Contact At Once, which embeds live chat data to boost relevant interactive connections.

Dynes Named CFO

Also on Monday, Dealer.com announced the appointment of Craig Dynes as chief financial officer. He will be responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis of the company, supervising budgeting and internal controls, and guiding strategic growth opportunities, as well as overseeing IT and legal.

“We're thrilled to welcome Craig to our executive leadership team,” said Rick Gibbs, chief executive officer of Dealer.com.  “We have experienced steady growth over the years and have been successful in scaling to meet demand. As Dealer.com reaches a new level of growth, Craig's deep experience with fast-growing companies will be a tremendous asset to us as we continue to carry out our vision for digital marketing for the automotive industry.”

Dynes is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business Administration, the University of Western Ontario and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant.

“I'm excited to join the executive leadership team at Dealer.com, and I'm especially looking forward to working with them at a time of unprecedented growth for the company and category,” said Dynes.

“It's refreshing to see a technology company combine an unconventional corporate culture with a laser focus on delivering top-notch customer service and a robust, forward-looking product platform.”
