ORLANDO, Fla. –
DealerRater honored several dealers Sunday at the NADA Convention & Expo for their excellence in customer service, as the company unveiled the winners of the 2013 Dealer of the Year Award Program.
The awards are determined based on customers’ reviews on DealerRater.com about their experiences at the dealerships.
The overall 2013 Dealer of the Year award went to Shuman Chrysler Dodge Jeep of Walled Lake, Mich., which also won the respective brand categories for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram.
Its overall 12-month PowerScore was 4.89 out of 5, and the dealership received 675 reviews last year.
DealerRater also broke down the awards by dozens individual brands and also handed out awards for the best used-car dealer and the best recreational vehicle dealer.
The used-car dealer award went to Certified Benz & Beemer of Scottsdale, Ariz.

The company also announced brand/used-car/RV dealers by states. Awards were also given out for Canadian dealers, including the 2013 Canadian Dealer of the Year award, which went to Georgian Chevrolet Buick GMC of Barrie, Ontario.
