“The support and enthusiasm from dealers and their OEMs for the OpenTrack Program in Canada has been overwhelming,” said DealerTrack Canada’s vice president and general manager Michael Collins.

Collins continued: “OpenTrack clearly reinforces our vision of an open platform approach which is designed to give Canadian dealers the maximum flexibility to use the solutions that best meet their needs and in both official languages.”
Explaining OpenTrack in more detail, officials noted that it debuted in the U.S. in 2009. It basically utilizes a suite of certified interfaces to support the integration of DealerTrack tools — like DealerTrack Dealer Management System and DealerTrack AAX as well as others — with third-party dealer systems.
Furthermore, DealerTrack Canada also utilizes various providers within in the U.S. OpenTrack program to help out Canadian dealerships.
