Fleet management platform Dealerware has been selected as the exclusive software provider for the Nissan Rental Car program, the company announced.
In a news release, Dealerware said its platform will help the program streamline rental processes, enhance customer experiences and improve visibility into fleet utilization and performance.
The NRC program includes more than 900 Nissan dealerships nationwide, giving customers access to rental vehicles for service loaners, alternative transportation and extended test drives.
“Automotive retailers are evolving beyond traditional vehicle sales and service, and well-utilized dealership fleets unlock more expansive mobility services, including rental offerings,” Dealerware CEO Matt Carpenter said. “We value the opportunity to serve the Nissan brand, the Nissan retail network and Nissan consumers.”
Dealerware’s platform is designed to equip retailers with tools to manage vehicle inventory, automate billing processes and ensure compliance with fleet program standards, the company said, offering an intuitive interface and mobile-first design for a faster, more efficient customer experience.
“Being awarded a single-source provider deal with an OEM is an infrequent opportunity,” senior vice president of sales and marketing Hallie Rinderle said, “and we appreciate the privilege to support Nissan’s rental program with our solutions.”
